News Paper
Room 23 and some other classrooms around Pukekohe intermediate school are doing a newspaper competition, this is when you create your own newspaper and publish it to a special website where it will be placed in the competition and you could be placed 1st 2nd 3rd
Maori language week
26th of July is Maori language week this is when we are celebrating Maori language our school has been having quizzes on Pintv and all the news stories have been said in Maori. After Pintv we have another broadcast and this is where we have to do quizzes through our class and out in the whole school. from now on every Tuesday each week we do a broadcast called te reo
Three-way student lead Conferences
Tuesday 26th of July i had my 3 way student lead conference with my parents and teacher a student lead is when your family comes to your school and you and your parents have a talk about your work in and out of school times you are then allowed to take your work home to show your parents.
PINTV
Pukekohe intermediate school have started doing live broadcasting for our own school news each day at 9.00am the live broadcasting starts we have different people each day, 2 People will read out the Morning notices and one Year 7 will read the Maori pronunciation for the daily Maori Word Quiz. then after the live broadcast the next broadcast will come on and this broadcast is where our the whole school has a daily quiz this is for celebrating Maori language week
